Kenozia had its Spring 2026 Issue #4 release party this past Wednesday. The community showed up to enjoy an eventful night of creative affairs. The show opened with a warm introduction by editor-in chief/creator Sarah Opatz before singer/songwriter Leroy Booker took the stage to charm the audience with 3 soul-stirring songs including his latest R&B single “Reasons”. Following Leroy, Braxton Molinaro, creative director/performer of KAPA Repertory Theatre, joined by an ensemble of his angelic sounding collaborators, performed his vulnerable song titled “Cry Too Much”. Greg York then took to the stage to read “Second Generation”, his allegorical sci-fi flash fiction story about a system’s growing sentience that leads it into an existential crisis. The night then turned to a deep diving and surprisingly emotional panel about the Kenosha Murals Project featuring founder of the Kenosha Creative Space Francisco Loyola, artist Nathan Upham, and artist Leeanna Chipana, moderated by filmmaker Danny Villanueva Jr. Watch the full event here:
